Persitency of Visualization in LBRP to Anchor You in the Astral

LBRP
Once aspect of performing the LBRP astrally, is to anchor yourself in the astral world. There is the physical component which is mirrored by the astral component. The astral component is based, initially, on visualising while you are performing the main ritual. So you might be doing it in a bedroom, but visually, as you walk around, you imagine an inner body performing the same actions in another world based on the elements. So, for example, when drawing the air pentacle, then there is a huge forest before you and the breeze is blowing over your face.

Then you can perform it mentally/astrally only. Lying down, you imagine your astral body rising and performing the ritual and you can see through it’s eyes and feel with it’s body. For example, when you are in the astral drawing the pentacle , then the breeze blows over your astral face and you feel it in this body, but also on your physical body which is existing in the physical world and lying in the centre of the room, and so this practice is anchoring you to be in two worlds simultaneously, which is essential to all magickal practice.

As you walk around the circle, the perspective changes and is very hard to maintain, you will keep snapping back to the perspective of the physical. The trick is make sure you are persisting in the visulization of the astral moment-to-moment without break. Walk around and see the world of the elements from the perspective of the astral and make sure that you are always seeing this visual field, do not let there be any break in concentration, control the mental field (visual screen) so that it is doing nothing other than placing you in another world.

It will take many months of practice, but the practice will ‘loosen’ you and you will start to ‘wake up’ in the next world more and more.
